Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) a satirical social media movement emerged as a influential party registered by millions of people. CJP peacefully protests at various places like Delhi, Amritsar, Lucknow, Pune, Hyderabad. On Monday 15 June, yesterday CJP protested at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
CJP asked for the permission of police for protest on 15th June Monday form 10:00 am onwards at Shaheed Smarak, near Government Hostel, Jaipur. In letter addressed to CJP Convenor Shashi Mishra, Deputy Commisioner of Jaipur police decline the request by stating that protest at Shaheed Smarak can lead to threat to public Order.
CJP Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka claimed police denies permission one day before the protest “after making us run from pillar to post for 4 days”. Ashutosh Ranka asked police to reconsider their decision and grant the permission if they failed to do so then CJP President Abhijeet Deepke will join and go to Jaipur Police Commissionerate with tricolour flag in one hand and constitution of India in other hand.
CJP media in-charge Abhishek Jain Bittu said that protest has been leading throughout the country like Delhi, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Bangalore but nothing incident happen, isn’t that enough for Jaipur Police to understand that here as well, no public disrupt will cause. CJP claimed that Rajasthan government didn’t want the protest to take place, as it will expose the failure of government administration in conducting the exam. They highlights Rajasthan also have school students, students who suffered through paper leaks and unemployed youth effected by recruitment irregularities.
On Sunday Jaipur police grant permission to CJP to protest including 12 restrictions.
- There should be limit of 800 person in gathering.
- Rally shouldn’t include DJ, no rally, no disruption of traffic.
- Gathering should be limited and restraint to avoid public disruption
- Gathering shouldn’t hurt any community, communal peace should be maintened.
- The organisers should follow Noise Pollution Regulation and Control Rules Act, 2000
- Programme timing between 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
- The organisers should take care of security at their own ends.
- No one would carry any stick, or any weapon during the programme.
- Organisers should ensure no cigaratte and smoking as well as Motar Vehicle Act
- At the end it mentioned that approval will be revovked if any students or a police officer complained.
After getting permission CJP’s Programme Convenor Deepak Baliyan said that CJP believe in democratic values and present it’s ideas through peaceful procession. He said the programme will follow the rules given by police and he also requests other CJP’s members to maintain law and order , public management and traffic peace.
Protest at Jaipur take place at Shaheed Smarak at 3:00 pm a lot of people actively joined and protest for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Youth and old actively participated in protest some demanding the resignation and some showing recent rape cases.
During protest, supporters of CJP carries CJP’s President Abhijeet Deepke on their shoulders then 2 person in the crowd slaps him. At the instant moment the people in protest start beating the both who slapped Abhijeet. Police detained both, the accused one is identified as Rakesh Gurjar who said that Deepke has ‘jiahdi mindset and he is misleading people thats why he slapped. Abhijeet tries to stop people from beating him in protest, he shows his hand while sitting on the shoulder, he shows hand gesture to stop them but people in rages beat tp both. Even in protest Abhijeet announce to leave the both, no use of power to anyone
In response to this incident Abhijeet said that this is tactics being used against them to disrupt the protest and distract peoples. Physical attacks shows that administration is in fear and it fears from youth of India. Further he said that he is follower of Gandhi and Ambedkar, he will use peace to resolve issue rather than force. Cockroaches refuse to give up and will continue to protest again and again until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
Protest successfully held at Shaheed Smarak, youth joined against filthy system and demands resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Protest will continue to take place until they get resignation. As NEET and other exam leaks poses a negative impact on some students suicide and many are unemployed due to leaks and shortage of positions for jobs.
