The Bar Council of India (BCI) published the notification for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 2024 on the official site. The Exam date is rescheduled for 22 December 2024. To qualify for this exam, candidates must understand the AIBE 19 syllabus 2024.BCI has published the AIBE 19 new syllabus on its official website. The AIBE 19 exam syllabus has three new topics namely Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. The AIBE 19 exam has 100 multiple-choice questions covering various law subjects, aimed at testing candidates’ legal concepts and basic understanding. Candidates who clear the All India Bar Examination will be awarded a Certificate of Practice which will enable them to practise as advocate in a court of law.

AIBE 19 Exam Pattern
The AIBE 19 exam is conducted offline using OMR sheets and lasts for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates with disabilities are given an extra 30 minutes by the All India Bar Council. The exam is available in 11 different languages, allowing candidates to choose the one they are most comfortable with. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark, for a total of 100 marks. The exam is divided into two sections: Part 1 and Part 2.
