The “POSH Act” is short for The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. It is a landmark Indian legislation designed to protect women from sexual harassment at their workplaces and to provide a mechanism for redressal of complaints of sexual harassment.
