Horror killing which is a heinous crime is born out of casteism and patriarchal society which stains the democracy of India by challenging the very idea of freedom and equality in the land where daughter are worship as goddess, considered a girl in a house is prospering till after this they murdered in the name of horror killing. Even in 21th century some lives are not ended by a stranger rather end by their own kins and family.
INTRODUCTION
An honor killing is a type of traditionally sanctioned murder in which a person usually a young women or a couple who love each other is murdered by their own family or community to make personal choices to love or marriage. They believed that the couple or the girl bring disgrace to society and reputation of the family has been harmed to restore their reputation they killed the girl or couple called honor killing.
Basically, the term honor killing should never belong t each other because they form a horrifying reality. Honor means to reflect dignity and self respect whereas killing is deliberately act of talking a human life but in context of honor killing, it becomes a distorted ideas used to justify the murder of someone who simply choose to love someone and marry a partner of his own will against the family and the society. A woman can be target by the family or community for variety of reason for like refusing for arrange marriage, seeking divorce from his husband and commiting adultery. The mere point is that she is bringing dihonor to her family which needs to be restored. Honor killings are primarily associated with the middle easy.

Honor killing is a global issue that claims thousands of life every year it is prvelance in many parts of the world. There are many places where it is actively performed such as MENA Countries and South Asian countries mainly India Pakistan, Nepal, an India. It is primarily associated in with the middle East, Magreb and Indian subcontinent but there also rooted in other society such as Phillipenes, Latin America, East America, Northern Caucasus and Historically in Meditarrean Europe.
Pakistan is considered as one of the most dangerous and unsafe country for women and the world because of the increasing crime in shaped of honor killing and other honor related issues. Islamic scholars link honor Killing with Islam that by doing this Prophet Mohammad will be happy.
LEGAL RESPONSE AROUND THE WORLD
It was condemned by the International Political Affairs. Honor killing are opposed by United Nation General Assembly 55/66 and they generated various report. Women and domestic violence addressed this issue under Article 42. Unacceptable justification for crimes including crime commited in the name of so called honor.
The World Health Organization addressed the issue of honor killing and stated that murdered of women to save the family honor are one of the most tragic consequence and culturally accepted discrimination against women. According to UNODC Honor killing are one form of gender based discrimination. It is assumed by people that women’s behaviour caste a reflection on the family and community.
