Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent—full-time degree from a recognized Indian University/Institute).

Minimum Marks: * 60% marks for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.

55% marks for SC and PwBD candidates.

Mandatory Exam: Candidates must have appeared for the CLAT-2026 (Common Law Admission Test) Post Graduate Programme. Scores from any other year or any other exam (like AILET) will not be considered.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years as of the last date of application (January 16, 2026).

Relaxations: * SC/ST: 5 years

​OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

​PwBD: 10 years

​Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. norms.

Shortlisting: Candidates are first shortlisted based on their CLAT-2026 PG scores.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of educational documents, caste certificates, and CLAT scorecards.

Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to the candidate being found medically fit by the NTPC Medical Board.
